The Sweet Spot of Style & Design

Here at MotionWear, we’re always trying to find that sweet spot when it comes to designing dancewear. You see, we want our dance leotards to be on trend and fashion forward, but not so edgy that they alienate consumers.

    So, what‘s the sweet spot?

Well, it’s that balance between what’s hitting the runways of New York or L.A. and what actually has appeal on the dance stages and studios of St. Louis or Columbus. It’s finding out what people want without forcing your own dancewear design ideas on them.

As a national manufacturer of dance leotards and gymnastics wear, we ship across the country. As a result, we have to appeal to the entire country. Yes, we know what’s coming in terms of design trends and yes, we keep our fingers on the pulse of current fashions, but we don’t let that distort the reality of what’s actually happening in cities like Des Moines or our home base – Indianapolis.

When we design at MotionWear, we ask ourselves:

    1. Will the moms like it?
    2. Will the pariticpants – kids, teens or adults like it?

And when it comes to designing dancewear and dance leotards, that’s the real sweet spot.
