We had a client call yesterday, letting us know that the fit on one of our better selling dancewear styles wasn’t meeting their needs – the silhouette just wasn’t exhibiting the right look on a body. In less than 24 hours, that customer feedback has gone from a single phone call to a full evaluation of the pattern.
At this point, we’re still looking into it and evaluating our sizing for that line, but it’s an example of how quickly we’re able to react to customer feedback thanks to precise digital patterns and our commitment to listening to our customers.
All of our patterns are draped precisely on models and then crafted & stored digitally. This really makes us unique. Why? Because we can react fast. For example, we can make running changes if a pattern doesn’t fit the market correctly – whether sizing or styles have changed over the seasons or years or we just realized a dancewear style wasn’t as good as it could be, we can make the change quickly and impact the market in a positive and dynamic way. In other words, we’re agile.
Just as important is that all of our patterns are precision cut by a computerized machine. This guarantees the precise patterns fit your dancers correctly every time, across all MotionWear product categories.
Precision of fit is especially important to us. Adjusting quickly to changing sizing while at the same time assuring your MotionWear products fit across all categories. Any dancewear company can say their fit is right, but if they’re not adjusting and moving with the market, then… it’s not.
So, what about this client and the feedback? Well, I spoke directly to the client, looked at the specific style myself and then forwarded it to our design staff for a full review. We’re still investigating – I’ll keep you posted on the status.
